Air Balance
Airflow Testing
Testing is the base of our business, whether it is in new construction or an already existing buildings. We are capable of performing all the testing requirements for HVAC systems.
Airflow Adjusting
Adjusting is the process of adjusting total volumes at fans or main branches in order to achieve the specified fluid flows and air patterns at the terminal equipment.
Airflow Balancing
Balancing is the process of regulating dampers to proportion the flows to the actual design values. If design values are not able to be met, then further testing is done to determine root problems and solutions.
The services provided by Air Validation Solutions under this field are:
Complete air and hydronic testing and balancing of large, medium and small commercial air conditioning systems (i.e. VAV, multi-zone, double-duct, a single zone with reheat system.
Balancing air and water distribution systems.
Adjusting the total system to provide the specified quantities.
Performance testing of cleanroom systems
Testing hospital systems with special requirements (i.e. surgery, isolation, sterile rooms).
Duct pressure testing for leakage.
Outside air adjustment.
Establishing quantitative performance of all equipment.
Verifying automatic controls.
Cleanroom Qualification
Air Rate Testing, Air Change Rates, Room to Room Pressure Differentials and Validation
Air Flow Testing
Air Flow Testing and Validation of Air Change Rates are essential when undertaking the construction and maintenance of a cleanroom. Employees of Air Validation Solutions Pty Ltd have over 25 Years’ experience in the setting up and validation of cleanroom air systems and pressure cascades. Our qualified and experienced consultants have carried out Air Flow Testing and Validation within a wide range of commercial environments including hospitals, biological labs and pharmaceutical institutions. The purpose of our testing and validation service is to ensure that the air system within a cleanroom is operating to its’ intended specification and is in line with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Air Change Rates in Clean Rooms
Regular testing of Air Rates ensures that a clean room remains fit for purpose and conforms to regulatory requirements. It is accepted that the 'cleaner’ a clean room is required to be, the more air is required and therefore the greater the air change rate. In order to prevent cross contamination it is essential that air systems can be relied upon to provide the required number of air-changes-per-hour. The minimum expectation for any healthcare application is 20 Changes Per Hour but this can vary immensely with some micro-biological facilities using systems that provide over 800 Changes Per Hour. Our Air Change Rate testing and validation ensures that these ‘per hour’ rates are adhered to and remain in accordance with the original design brief. At Air Validation Solutions Pty Ltd we can provide validation data and certificates as part of our Air Rate Testing and Validation services. Air Validation Solutions Pty Ltd through use of the latest technology can guarantee reports within 10 working days of completion of site visit.
Cleanroom Qualification
Performance Qualification (PQ) services, to support validation and quality protocols.
Validation protocols are a method of establishing documented evidence that shows a high degree of assurance that a manufacturing process will consistently yield a product of repeatable high quality.
Installation Qualification (IQ)
Operational Qualification (OQ) and
Performance Qualification (PQ) services, to support validation and quality protocols.
Through the coordination of cleanroom services and equipment, we can get your cleanroom operational faster.
Air Tightness & Room Leakage Testing in Cleanrooms
In addition to Air Change Rates, at Air Validation Solutions Pty Ltd we can also assist in carrying out Air Tightness Testing. Otherwise known as Room Leakage testing, Air Tightness testing allows us to monitor and report on the integrity of a room’s construction. Air tightness testing is carried out with a view to identifying where unfiltered air may be entering a clean room and, therefore, compromising the intended protection against micro particles and cross contamination. Our qualified consultants will carry out thorough Air Tightness testing on the room’s required an on mechanical ventilation systems as well as physical joints such as door seals to identify any areas for improvement to bring the facility in line with the required specific Cleanroom Qualification
